I have the following:

EF 70-300mm 1:4-5.6 IS
EFS 18-55mm (cheapy that came with the camera...want to upgrade this one)
EF 50mm 1:1.4 - this is my primary lense and I use it for most shots.

I'm still learning how to use the camera, had it for about a year now.

Nice images! As a team photographer for the Tacoma Panther Football Organization,I use the Xti as my backup body mounted with a Tamron 17-35 2.8. My primary body is the 30D usually mated with the 70-200L. Although the release of the Xsi, 40D, and 50D, the Xti is far from being outdated! These produce excellent images and firmware update is always available. Advice I can give you is put your money in the glass you use...Canon's Professional "L" series is second to none.
NIce job!

I meant out of date, meaning the new XSi came out. I hear you about the glass. I keep looking at L series lenses, but really don't have the money for them, plus, right now it is still in the "hobby" phase. I'm pretty satisfied with the 50mm, but I do want to replace the one that came with the body.
