Default Newer bikes and reliabilty.

So I never thought I would be thinking about upgrading bikes from my f4i but here I am. I want to know about the reliability of newer 600's and 1000's. Mostly interested in how they compare to my f4i. I Know f4i's last for ever but does honda still put out the quality that will make a 2010 model the same?

I love the honda brand of motorcycles but I am also really interested in zx6r's and maybe interested in R1's and R6's. I HAVE NO INTEREST IN gsxr's and cruisers. But I might be willing to ride a sweet motard

IMO any thing that has a honda name is reliable

but just like anything alse that is new it takes a few years to really see how reliable a bike really is

and as far as comparing them to a f4i....f4i is a tank and i really cant see any other bike that is built better than the one the only ...f4i

I know the F4i is just a tank but at the same time anything mechanical will have failures. If I get rid of my f4i I just want to be on the nicest bike I can afford that will last me the longest. I love how smooth flowing 600rr's are but I love how aggressive zx6r's are. The only reason why 1000's are thrown into the mix is because If I spend a few bucks more now verses have to sell my 600 again to get a 1000 I will be very pissed off.

true true ....i dont really know what bikes are really reliable but arent the newer rr's basicly the same motor as the f4i just differnt tuning , better suspinsion better swing arm and just everything on them is better?? i dont really have enough knowledge to give a good answer but i would think if half of that is true than they gotta be good right??

I personally dont like the kawi's but to each their own

The reliability of whatever you buy is mostly dependent on how well you maintain it. Others experiences with reliability will also be dependent upon how well they maintain their bikes. Some things may break regardless of proper maintenance. Just something to consider.

I agree. If you dont maintenance the bike and ride the **** out of it then its probably not going to last.

I like the zx6r's but the r6 are ugly. I was looking at liter bikes when I bought mine. They just didnt have what i wanted when it came to the 1Krr, but my 600rr really surprised me with the power it has.

I went to the dealership today... I really dislike the looks of the new 600rr... I hate how the stator and clutch cover have an ugly plastic cover... I saw an 05 zx6r I disliked that too. I really liked the new 1000rr's I guess I could pick up an 08 for around $7000 too? I think I am gonna keep my f4i and hope that I can save enough cash by next year.

I wish every bike manufacturer didn't put that ugly GP style muffler on 1k's...

This is pure sex. - turn signals, and big *** heat shield...
