Default New CBR250R

So what are your thoughts and opions on the new cbr250r coming to America. Finally something that is not another small ninja.

I personal think its great and wouldn't mind getting one for comuting daily and saving the bigger bike for the fun weekends.

Thought and opions are welcome.

I like it too. I just think it should be something like a 400cc. Now if it was a two stroke.....I'd like to rip it!

Meh, 250. As a previous owner of a Kawasaki 250, all it leaves the owner is wanting for more. Good in concept, but the owners tend to get bored of them VERY quick. Nice body.

i already have a ninja 250 w/ 33k miles and it is a hoot and far from boring... but it is nice to have another option for newbies especially for honda fans...

When my nephew was looking to get his 1st bike (ended up with Suzuki 250 Across, 4 cylinder), at that time learners where restricted to 250's. Anyway test rode a few CBR250's & found them to be a real hoot. nice howl from the pipes & to be honest brought a smile to my face thrashing the little buggers through the twisties. Good brakes & handling & typical Honda paint & finish & the new ones would only be better.

I want one to do mini-Endurance racing. 250 is the max size allowed; we raced a Kawa on a 2 hour race in October and it was a blast. You really have to work on the cornering as your straights are pretty set, though we also had a blast drafting. It was like WOT the whole time. None of this smooth throttle work like we normally teach...off or wide open!!

I just wish some aftermarket shocks, plastics, etc. would be available when the bike comes out (and I wish it would be sooner - they told us at the Motorcycle Show it would be April).

Perfect starter bike I love it.

And as far as a 250 being too small or getting bored you guys don't know how to ride one then. nuff said.
