Mopar "accidentally" posted this pic of the all-new 2009 Dodge Ram when it was supposed to be an 08 model.
But besides that, it's not that massive of a change. It looks better than the current one, but doesn't jump up saying "I'm the new one!" Maybe it's the color.![Smile](https://cbrforum.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif)

Just found out it has a coil-sprung rear suspension setup! NO LEAF-SPRINGS! ???? Guess they're not aiming at having the most towing capability this time around. (though, they might be geniuses for this, because 80% of the trucks sold are confined to commuter duty anyway) Makes sense though, they have the Ram 2500 and 3500 for the towing and heavy-duty stuff, and are keeping the 1500 more of a ultra-light-duty type of truck. They JUST might be geniuses now that they're not owned by Merc anymore.
And for people not familiar with suspension setups, leaf-spring rear suspension setups is what just about every truck has these days. The coil-sprung suspension setup doesn't provide outstanding towing or payload figures, but provides greater handling and cornering abilities. Now I'm really interested in the detailed specs of this thing.
