So my car is up for sale and with the wife and i having a new baby girl i was gonna get her a new car and sell hers and get me a new car (in otherwords alot of debt) but i decided im actually going to pimp out her little cougar lol... i didnt think it was possible to make a cougar look decent until i bumped into this picture

ya its a rc car cover (and they do not make this kit) but i beleive with my body working skills i can replicate the body kit (minus the spoiler and tachy side decals) add some wheels/tires and lowering springs and have a fun little daily driver... (eventually im thinking motor swaps lol but KISS for now)

the first one has the typical "radical" paint color with "racer" graphics down the side, a rear spoiler big enough to seat a small family, "sponsor" logos, hood pins, "tuner" wheels, etc. Almost textbook description of a "ricer" car (to me)

im not trying to hate, just thought it was odd that you posted a simple monotone color car with lame exhaust and park bench on the trunk as more "ricer" than the other.

Cougars arent very good in the snow. A lowered Cougar with ground effects is sheeeit in the snow.

Its not me, but its not my car either. If you like it then do it. And they cant be that bad in the snow, my Camaro made it through the past two winters just fine

And they are not hood pins, it's where the case mounts to the guts of the RC car.

cougar got around great here all winter long.. including like 6" (any more than that an i just dont go anywhere) of snow so idk y u think it wouldnt do good :icon_shrug:

OP: is that hpi the rs4? i use to race rc cars years ago before i had a license. always a fun time till you run out of nitro or battery power.

I have seen entire bumpers get ripped off of lowered cars driving in the snow. I was saying cougars are bad in snow from info I heard from others. It made sense considering Probes are bad, my SVT Focus I had was also bad in the snow. Its a fwd sports car from ford so I didnt find it hard to believe that the cougar would do poorly.

ok well its not worth arguing over to me but im just saying ive driven hers in the winter and it totes around just peachy... :icon_shrug:
