Need feedback on years/ models

I am stuck trying to decidewhat cbr to buy this upcoming season. I have been riding dirt bikes but would like to step over to a sport bike. I am pretty set on getting a 2000 or newer cbr and was looking for whatever input anyone is willing to offer. First, what is the major difference between the F4is and RRs. I am basically looking to find out if it is really an issue for a new rider like myself? Second, any years that were standouts for better or worse? Should I avoid any specific models or years? Thank you very much in advance to anyone who can help out

2000 f4 = Single headlight, banana seat, carburated.
2001-2003 F4i = Dual headlight, dual seat, fuel injected.
2004-2006 F4i = Dual Headlight, banana seat, fuel injected.
2003-Present RR = Dual Headlight, dual seat, fuel injected.

If your dead set on starting on a 600 any of the F series bikes would be a better bet, "slightly" more forgiving than the RR's and a more comfortable ride though neither is really a beginners bike. The RR's make you lean forward more, more trackish, and are considered to have less forgiving suspension for common road conditions, designed more for track. Both are fast and you won't be capable of reaching either bikes limits. Plus RR's cost a lil more, and being a new rider, your pretty much guaranteed to drop it or tip it at some point.
You need to hit up a motorcycle safetly course, a ton of people thought dirt bike experience translated directly into road bike and found out the hard way there's alot they didn't know or that was different. Either way, good luck and welcome.
