Only the fourth time ever that the defending champ has been defeated in the first round. I'm guessing first time ever for a sweep.

Clips vs. Griz was entertaining, but was really hoping Gay would hit that shot for the win.

Jazz lost by double-digits like I thought they would, but at least they made the first half competitive. At best, they'll make game four a nail-biter victory. Still waiting for Corbin to learn how to make adjustments.

Yea Dallas played allright, but damn OKC bringin it.

Clippers played good. Great series. I dont mind that they won, but yea I would have liked to see Gay hit that -- he played at UCONN!

Yea Jazz played better, pushed the pace.

Hey, a relative of mine is betting me Miami take championship....5 to 1 odds....so if I bet $1, win 5.....i know Miami will come out from the east but don't know if they will better the team coming out from the west?

So I bet him $40.....if Miami Lebron gets his first ring, I'll lose $40....if they don't, I win $200...pretty good odds...hey $200 can get a good riding gears...LOL...

I'd be tempted to take that bet, too. I think they have about a 45% chance of beating the Spurs, and maybe 60% chance of beating the Thunder. (I know the Thunder just swept the defending champs, but I'm still not convinced they have what it takes yet.)

Side note: Tracy McGrady is one loss away from going 0-8 in playoff series with four different teams:

2000 - New York (3) 3-0 over Toronto (6)
2001 - Milwaukee (2) 3-1 over Orlando (7)
2002 - Charlotte (4) 3-1 over Orlando (5)
2003 - Detroit (1) 4-3 over Orlando (8) - the closest he came; Orlando was up 3-1
2005 - Dallas (4) 4-3 over Houston (5)
2007 - Utah (4) 4-3 over Houston (5) - Houston had home court advantage
2008 - Utah (4) 4-2 over Houston (5) - Houston had home court advantage
2012 - Boston (4) 3-1 over Atlanta (5) - Atlanta has home court advantage

Sometimes superstar players must sacrifice $$$$ to be on a team that has potential to make it all the way....

Say like Derek Fisher....smart to give up the remaining contract as sign with OKC...players like TMac & Melo should have done this way back in there younger years...

Yeah. He was scoring champ twice. Not everyone can win a title, I guess. Just look at players like Reggie Miller, Stockton, Malone, Webber, etc.
