I did not mean to offend anyone, I was on my period when I wrote that. But I'm also not the only one who feels this way either around here.

like voodoo said, this is all news to me as well...i try to be cool with everyone on the forum (except for teh n00bz posting the "how fast have you gone" threads, etc)...i hope i havent done anything to you to make you resent me j, definitely wasnt my intention at all if i have

It's nothing personal against anyone here, Cat, you I consider a great friend on here, along with others... I just think I need some time away from the whole Off Topic thing... I'll be around the fantasy theards and 600RR section, but the rest seems to have gone to hell in a way that a popularity contest wasn't cool 15 years ago when I was in high school and I don't find it cool now either... seems to me that this is what this site has turned into. 8-10 guys spewing nothing but crap (usually off topic) ALL over the boards, and pushing out anyone else that tries to partake or post something legit... and I'm not saying it's happening to me, but I see it happening to other potential great future members and other current members (who don't seem to be current members anymore) and I think it's wrong and bad for this community. Hell, I'm not even sure why I care so much about it, but I'm not partaking in it anymore.

It isn't even a "one guy" type of thing, Tony... I'm not trying to call anyone out at all.
To me, it's a group thing and I'm not even sure they are aware of it going on. I am now trying to make that group aware. Because I don't see it as doing anything positive for this site over the past couple of months... and it's not just one thread, or even one section of this site.

Funky, you know I*ve got nothing against you so this is not meant in any derogatory way my bulldog loving friend but I think you*re combining two totally unrelated things to justify a totally separate debate that has been on your mind and using sigs and play to bring it up. Assuming you are absolutely correct about what you say (which I*m not saying I agree with but for the sake of debate, let*s assume it*s true) what does a simple sig have anything to do with anything? Almost all forums everywhere have members with sigs, are you saying all forums everywhere and people with sigs are using them as a popularity contest? If so, how does your own sig play into this? I*m not following your logic so please help me understand and I*m not arguing with you, just want to know where you are coming from with all this. And for goodness sakes I thought the play was done and over with but since you brought it up again twice ... the play that you call *stupid* and that you say has resulted with people leaving, where*s your evidence for that? People come and go all the time regardless of anything to do with anything (sell bikes, SERVER PROBLEMS etc..) do you have some insight we are not aware of? One last thing, have you considered the purpose of the play to get people back on track to THINK BEFORE POSTING and to stop bickering about stupid stuff and cause drama in every other thread? Have you considered that if anyone left as you claim they might be the ones that liked drama and thats possibly why they left?
We all want the same end result, to keep this forum ABOUT BIKES with a little fun in the offtopic with little drama as possible, lets not lose focus of that.

Kewl, it really does have nothing to do with the sigs... it just came out in this thread. And it's not the play itself, but how it changed things on this board.
I'll forward over the emails I sent to VooDoo today, maybe it will clear up my thoughts for you.
And again, I DO NOT want to finger point or make anyone uncomfortable or ruin any relationships with people that I have built on here over the past year. I have no ill feelings to anyone here at all. I got alot going on lately and it came out here, so I went with the emotional explosion I've been feeling lately and it fell out in this thread. I am sorry to Cat and TK and everyone else who has to read my bull... but I've never thought that holding it in is a good thing so here it all is. On a ****in silver platter.
