Default most important mod

in your honest opinion

whats the most important "performance" mod you do to your bike?
if you had only one choice to make your bike "perform" better....which would it be?

tires?
exhaust?
pcIII?
suspension?
wheels?
cbrforum sticker?

edit: dont forget about brakes

I will say tires, a good set really inspires confidence. But the best seat of your pants mod to me would be a -1/+2 sprockets.

Went with tires. I'm tender about my riding when starting out. As I feel they've started to warm, I ride a little stronger.

And I've seen people do things with stock bikes others can't with all the mods they can fit

Rather than spend money hopping up a piddler, I think I'd just save it for a bigger bike.

If I already had a bigger bike, I've heard that stroking it back to square does evil, wonderful things

Suspension. Even for just street riding getting the best setup to suit you can never be beat. I recently adjusted mine to fit me and man. I can take corners much faster without it feeling like its wanting to fly out from under me.

sprocket -1 +2, best mod I have done even more so than my exhaust and tires and pcIII. It made it feel like a new bike
