Although what he did was dumb, you should have told him the danger of not wearing his gear on a bike he knows NOTHING about. Not callin him a dumbass, instead you should have talked to him and at least tried to help him. If he is a newbie, he probally never realized what he was doing. He prob just wanted the look, but that look can turn deadly in the wrong hands.
