So I bought some tires today because I couldn't pass up $190 shipped for front and back Metzler M-1 Mtec - so there was that.

So then I decided I needed some stands. But while looking I checked the paper and saw some guy selling some in there. So I call him and he says yeah but you have to come by tonight because I'm moving and heading out early tomorrow.

So I get there and these stands are BRAND NEW. Big beefy HINDLE stands. ($124 each at Ron Ayers). Then he says "hey you need gloves or a helmet?" I said I'll look at them and here he comes with a brand new looking pair of Icon gauntlets with armor on the knuckles and finger joints and they have removable liners. They are sweet and all black and fit me great. And he throws down another set of gloves that are black leather tour masters with vents in the fingers and carbon fiber armor all over them.

THEN he plunks down a flat black Icon helmet (I don't know which one it is) it has some small scratches on it but WTF - it's a nice helmet and once again - it fits me great.

Oh yeah and I mentioned I don't have swingarm spools so he took them off his bike and gave those to me as well.

I got all this for $70 just now!

I figure that one pair of Icon gloves cost more than that.

I love it when a good deal comes my way!

Nah I think I'm covered on all that other stuff.

Interesting guy. He and his wife are in their 40s and just decided to sell off everything / put the house up for sale/ and move to a warmer climate. Pretty cool.

Nah. I don't think he was much of a "glove thief" Good folks. Just selling everything off cheap so they can get going.

I think of that same thing when things are on Ebay for dirt cheap and brand new. But that was a sweet deal. congrats on your winnings.
