Default Man Up or That's Dumb? (Weather)

Okay... third (make that FORTH, no FIFTH! WTF?!) time's the charm! Yay 5 power outtages. Anyways... so here's the deal.

Going to Kansas ([:'(][:'(] and [:'(]) this weekend, leaving tonight. Will be there till Sunday. I enjoy challenges and having a "story" to tell... I've made this trip on my CBR already (4-4.5 hours each way) and once on a Ninja 650r in similar or colder conditions... though potentially more dry.

I want to know what you think! Man up and enjoy the ride, the ride back should be nice, and it would give me an extra vehicle once I was in Kansas... or should I save the trouble, the gas money, and toll ($6.25 each way, per vehicle)... and my wifes taking the car regardless.

Leaving Thursday late, in kansas friday, sat, and sun, then return.

Weather in Oklahoma (only 2 hours of thursday night and sunday evening matter here)...

Weather in Kansas (the whole rest of the weekend matters)...

Kansas in more detail... (kinda looks like fun to me.)

That weather looks warm. I dont see bad weather in that forecast at all. Some rain one night won't hurt you.

That's fair... where are you from? While I don't disagree with you... 25 degrees isn't exactly toasty...

Just ride. I live in Colorado and rode when it was about 20 degrees outside. I travel 35 miles each way for work. The only thing I would have needed to go farther is some heated grips/gloves. Other than that you should be fine.

So far I'm leaning towards ride... ironicly, wet and cold, on a bike, makes me laugh most of the time... I don't know why I think it's funny. It's still a close race though.

I ride year round in MD/PA--there are days that I would kill for a 29 degree ride...you should ride.
