The DMV tests are a joke. It'll be easy, but it's up to the rider to make sure he/she knows what he/she is doing. The DMV could care less if you really know what you are doing on the bike. As long as you can keep it up and ride in a circle, they're happy...........thus is the reason we have so many squids on the road making the rest of us responsible riders look bad.

when I went in for my permit test, this vietnamese lady and her dad came in for his license. He must have been damn near 70. Didn't speak a word of english. He missed 4 questions past the pass/fail cut off...but due to the begging/crying of his daughter (grown azz lady), he was allowed a 4 question re-test. If he passed, he got the license.....dude gets 2 wrong. One thing I learned from my schooling is anytime you have a 5 and a 0 on a test, in either order, its never a good thing. Well....guess what. Yup. Old azz asian dude who speaks NO english got his license. Made my asian azz re-think the whole 'riding a motorcycle' thing....

moral of the (sad and true) story: when in doubt, cry. or get an asian lady to do the crying for you. then, even if you fail, you can still walk out with a license. ...at least here in sunny southern california.

I think EVERYONE who operates a car/truck/bike/tractor/etc. should have to retake their written AND driven test EVERY 4 years. This makes sure that the people who actually know what they are doing, are the ONLY ones on the road. Put NASA or the Military in charge of the DMV...........they seem to know how to train people correctly.

And on the electronic system, if you're not sure about an answer, skip it, don't guess. If you put in the wrong answer, you can't go back. But if you skip it, you can guess later, if you still need a few right answers to get the minimum score.

Yeaa the DMV stuff is a joke..But if you really want your license and get a few tips.Take a MSF course,it waves all the DMV tests(in most states) and helps you learn along the way.

In OH for the temp test you have to pass I think 30 of 40 questions onthe touch screan. For the endorsment you have to pass an on bike test. The temp test is kinda easy, but you have to know you traffic laws well. The on bike test is kinda hard, but I passed it the first try.
