Default LOL, first drop.

Today, I finished putting together the bits to make my bike run... of course, minus the gas tank cap key...LOL (so, no gas. It will turn over, but I don't know if it will actually run yet.)

So I took it for a ride down the drive way.

Damn, a 600 with all the stuff (headers and gas tank) on it is heavy...

Getting it back up the driveway wasn't so hard... but when I tried to get it over the roots at the top, before I get to where I left the bike, I ended up dropping it (opposite side) onto some grass... I think maybe the front tire has gone flat again.

Thankfully I didn't bother putting the fairings on, so there was no damage. LOL.

First ride (at full weight), and first drop...

Good thing the shiny fairings weren't on. I bet you wouldn't be in such good spirits after that.

The fairings are crappy so it wouldn't have been much of a loss anyway.

(I don't even have all the hardware)

The bike was slightly wrecked, so I couldn't really use the frame sliders it came with (they were broken).

Actually, I wouldn't have had the issue if the bike was running, since I would have been able to just ride over the stump instead of having to push it UPHILL over the stumps, with an apparently flat front tire.
