Default Local lawyer vs. big law firm

I need a lawyer to go to court for a simple ticket I got of having no tag light. What do you guys think is better, a local lawyer that I spoke to directly at his office. Or a company called citation nation thats a big firm and I talked to the assistant at the office. Both offered me $39 to go to court. Which one will I have a better chance getting my ticket dismissed or getting the lowest court costs? Local Lawyer or Big law firm?

I would talk to the lawyer that the big firm would assign to you, and then decide between that person and the other lawyer based on your comfort level/trust with each of them.

I'm surprised you got a citation for no tag light. Seems to me that's a fix-it ticket type thing, which goes off your record if you fix it and have it inspected within x days.

all i know is, if i hear one more morgan & morgan commercial on the radio, i'm going to go insane

is there a reason you're considering a lawyer in the first place? i didn't think it was that important to have one for such a minor infraction

Yeah. It's not a fix it ticket. The ticket costs $115. I would go to court myself and fight it but I have school. Rather pay $39 than $115
