i will personally dip this thing into the pacific my self if it ends up over here in southern california. (that is if i don't use it for my bike. ) j/k no kidnapping right?

What kind of time frame might we be looking at? How long do you think it will take for us to get it across the country?
What if we lose it? or someone steals it?

 

I would imagine this will take the most of summer, hopefully enough people participate so no one has to travel too far to get it. As far as loosing it, whoever looses it should get a beat down from the previous carrier and have to purchase a new one. Also we'll just have to make sure its hidden enough and locked up good so no one swipes it.

Yah, a definite inscription should be used.
We are going to get it here and back right? (that way a different route could be used on the way back and more members can get involved in case they miss the first crossing)
If we can do this it will be a huge show of cooperation and camaraderie for sport bikes.\

We could make it annual.

Edit: maybe even go for a world wide attempt if we can cover one continent?

I am attempting to plan a ride to Oregon in August. If/When it makes it to the West coast, I can probably pic it up. I wouldn’t be able to return it though.

 

That's an awesome idea! If/when it's in my neck of the woods, I might even be able to get it to the beach at Santa Monica
