I never understood why people buy Ducks. You can buy a nice Japanese sportbike for 2 to 4 grand cheaper. With the money you have left over you can do some nice mods, I mean very nice mods to it and it will kick that ducs *** especially a 748. If you wanted a good v twin sound. Buy the RC-51. Hell that would still be cheaper than a 748. Oh well not my money. Have fun though.

The reason I can ride harder now is because I have full coverage insurance. And you can laugh about the unreliability all you want but with my 2 year warranty EVERYTHING is covered as long as I go for the scheduled maintenences. It needs to go in every 6thou miles for a tune which will cost about $400 (thats my half off price for working at Dainese). And Voodoo, I mostly like gixxer because they have a middleweight but I really am flattered that you remember.

Does it have the desmodromic valve system? Or similar? I can't remember what they use for what bikes. I think there's desmosedici and testastretta too. Lots of fancy names.

I think its the same reason people buy a ferrari... you can get a car for a lot less and make it just as fast for less money, but it will never have that ferrari emblem...
