We got up early and headed out to Chester City for some last minute shopping ...


Its lovely provided you get there early enough ..this is still dawn and before the people arrive ...

A bit later now and more activity ... you may think its quiet but it does get really busy later in the day, however us early birds are headed back home by then ..lol

I need to pick up two gift cards at the local Gamestop. All other stuff was ordered from Amazon.

They really have Chester decorated nicely Jules. You are very lucky to live nearby such a beautiful town.

I have all of the gifts, but still need to run to the store for some last minute food items for the Christmas eve dinner I'm making this evening. It's going to be interesting in all of this ice...

I have been there. I will say that I truly miss it.

 

Before we left I went down by the river to take some pics, its so quiet there just now but a hive of activity in the summer!! :-)

A bit of an overcast day, so the pics reflect that and only taken with a phone ..it was mild and dry though!! :-)

 

Looks like that movie that Mark Walburg was in (can't remember) whereare all the people?

Went to the mall (first time in years and last for years) in and out in 15 minutes got the wife her "princess cut" diamond earrings as told to do. She takes the task of buying everything else each year.

 

Its why I love the early mornings ..no people!! ..lol

Anyway, most of my shopping was done 2 weeks ago. We have been trickling back to the store here and there but not today. No more gifts for me to buy. The wife is out grocery shopping though. She says its mad out there.
