just be thankful you're alive...
no other protective gear other than a helmet...
speeding...etc...
don't get on again until you learn to control the throttle.

Glad to see that you made it OK. When I see a bike that is damaged that bad, I cringe thinking about what happened to the driver.

That thing is WASTED!

Heal up, let the family get over it for a while, then buy another one.

Good luck.

Glad you're ok but that bike is done for. The amount of money you would need to get that even track ready you coulc purchase a new one.

The guy in the car made an improper U turn right out in front of him. What does his throttle control have anything to do wit the accident?

Is your stator still together? Pm me if it is and ill get it off of u...just think of it as a donation for your next bike

damn glad to hear u alright, thats a bike!?!?! is the engine still good or is the block cracked? if the engine is still good sell it you can make a lil change off of it. get whats good off of it and ebay it, not only will you make some cash off whats good on it but ull get the insurance check outta it. dont quit riding if u dont want to, sh*t happens and we all speed but its not ur fault some jackass pulled in front of u. but dont rush into another bike till ur 100% and u find a real good deal.

He would have to buy it back from the insurance company if he wants to sell parts off it. I would just take the check, pay medical bills, and get a new bike.

he was speeding...nowhere is there a limit for 70 unless it's a highway. on a highway with speed limit like that, there wouldn't be an exit...not a left turn traversing the highway.

bikes already make it hard for cars to judge distance and speed...you make it harder when you speed. yes he got cited and the ticket but by obeying the speed limit...chance for wreck is minimized, if not avoided.

[sm=forgetit.gif] That bike is TOAST.

Glad you came out of it relatively OK. Get some Mederma -- should help a little with the healing/scarring.
