Has anyone ever got caught on the freeway at night with just your permit and your certificate from your saftey coarse? I can get my license but have not had the time yet. Thanks

 

you will lose your permit, not worth it go get yer lic

 

Like he said, you'll loose your permit and its not worth it. If you are riding on the highway at night, make sure you dont give the cop ANY reason to pull you over.

I took my written test for my permit and the very next day I took the riding test for my license.

 

i did a couple saturdays ago. i was pulled over doing 130 in a 70. i only have my permit

Ive been stopped at night with just a permit twice. Got pulled for no reason the first time so the cop let me go. The second time the cop recognized me from my work (cops eat half off) and let me go. The key is to be very very nice to the cop. Never talk back and chances are they wont care that you are just on a permit. Not worth the risk, but if you dont ride like a dumbass you shouldnt get pulled over.

 

ive never had a permit how do you get one of those? i went from straight up and full on illegal to liscenced and insured within 12 hours of coming home with my bike, lol

 

all i know is that a license for me is my life. Without it, i wouldn't be able to go to school, work, out, and see my g/f. If you have your permit and the certificate and all you need is 2 hours of time, GO TO THE DMV BEFORE YOU DO GET PULLED OVER!!!!

I would wait to ride till I got my license, not worth messing up your previous work.
