Nice. That sounds like a pretty intense class. 5 days? Do they schedule it around work hours?
I have a friend that wants to get a bike. I told him I would take the course again and pay for his if he took it. We are looking to schedule a class within the next couple of weeks. Looking forward to it again.

i think this should be required for everyone to get the license. think about it: when you were in drivers ed, how many hours did you have to spend with an instructor? When you get your motorcycle license from the BMV, how many seconds do you spend being observed by an examiner?
get my point?
i'm a somewhat experienced rider and i learned a ton from the beginner course. i'm going to take the advanced next! it's only a 1 day course...

In the building trades the licensed tradesman (plumbers, electricians, etc...) are required to have a minimum amount of hours per year of class time. I beleive the drivers licensing department should do something similar to this.

FLY, you could have save a lot of time and money by taking the BRC-2 course.
This course is for "experienced" riders that do not have there licence.
You would qualify for this course.
It is only a 9 hourcourse.
I know it's too late for you but, more info here http://www.motorcycle.ohio.gov/brc2.html
I suggested it to a few people whoride by re-newing temps every year.
I think this started as a pilot program last year.
I plan on taking the experienced riders course sometime this year.
It sounds like you took Riders Edge at AD Farrow.
