its all coming back
im begining to really love the bike again, despite how i was feeling the week following my last lowside. all it apperantly took was a mirror, lol. scored a free mirror from a friends shop and put them both back on and i feel better (i guess b/c w/o mirrors i would look down and recall what caused me to NOT have mirrors). im still nervous around corners w/ the constant feeling that im going to wreck, or tires will slide out.......but im back to riding it CONSTANTLY and enjoying it.
*takes a deeeeeeeeep breath*...........i LOVE riding

RE: its all coming back
Small steps, both for the bike repairs & confidence in riding. A lot of people walk (limp) away from bikes after an incident, some don't even come off, just takes a big scare & that enough for them.
After 40 years Ive had my fair share of bingles & close encounters, Ive nearly walked away to, but I guess I'm an addict. There is though a big difference about riding carefully & cautiously & having respect for riding & being sh*t scared all the time.

^ look here *******! hahahaa, its not allowed!
DDCavi, i'll admit im still nervous in corners. im hoping it will go away as even though i swore myself (And family) that after i highsided my F4i w/ my street knee dragging addiction, that i wouldnt do it anymore on the street and i promised it would only happen again at the track.......i still like to play around in the turns, i just dont get quite so low and dont go quite as fast. but hopefully w/ some pilot powers i'll regain atleast SOME confidence. b/c as of right now i dont see myself doing what i LOVE and thats hitting back roads. but i am enjoying the bike once again and take it out literally right after getting home and hoping off it, haha.

lol, sorry pacemaker you beat me to the post. that "^" was meant for doodoo.
and i hear ya, brother. i know its not just luck that i've walked away from 3 accidents now (well, the second one i didnt neccasarily walk, but i was 100% fine and no injuries besides concusion). i just feel like i suck at riding, lol. but, i guess i put alot of miles on so im out there more than most (im at 4k now on the RR). hopefully i've had my "downs" for this year [>:]
