Some 17 yr old kid hacked the iPhone to work on networks other than AT&T. A company traded him a new Nissan 350Z and some new iPhones for his secret!

Although it's cool this kid defied the great corporate empire, I find it sad he’s not out having fun in the sun for his summer…

At least he got cool stuff for it… I guess I wouldn’t mind if my 15 year old did this; I wouldn’t have to buy him a new car when he turns 16.

 

yea there is a **** load of smart computer ppl out there. they can not be stoped.

it makes me wanan give him a car too. but naaaaaaaw i dont have the money and i am not a giving kind of person.

that kid will make a killing if he hurries and gets a bunch of phones out there in the market fast.....once his secret gets around it wont be worth nearly as much....this is a bit time issue of strike while the iron is hott.

 

I saw this kid on MSNBC showing off his hacked iPhone. He said that he will only sell 1 iPhone for $2000. He didn't say anything about the 350Z, but maybe that offer came later. He also said he would (or already has) post the method to unlock the iPhone on his blog. Not that great of a buisness man I guess.
