iPhone & ATT
 

Day after I preordered iPhone 5, mic on my iPhone 4 stopped working on just phone calls only. Nobody can hear me talking, but I can record voice memo or videotape no problem. I thought I was getting iphone5 on 21st, so I opt to go with plain pay as you go phone just for a week. Now they tell me I won't get my new phone for 2 to 3 weeks. Why ATT takes my money for pre-ordering the phone and give what's available to people who didn't pre-order? Just don't make sense. I am having iphone 4 fixed for $50 now so I can get emails and stuff. I cannot get used to with this crapy phone zI'm using now

Apple said there was a problem that their supply didnt meet their demand... Apple made 10 million iphone 5's anticipating they would have enough. 5 milllion sold with in the first 3 days on pre-orders alone... its been 12 days since and im sure they more than quadrupled in sales so i wouldnt be surprised if they even push you back even more

I had a Motorola Droid 2 Global before going to my iPhone 4S. The Droid was the biggest piece of garbage I'd ever owned. Short battery life, crashing constantly, etc. :icon_lol:

I've yet had any problems with my iPhone ;)

Yeah my iPhone 4S has been bulletproof physically and in terms of operating flawlessly.

iPhone's are awesome, AT&T on the other hand is garbage. i dropped them and switched to a local company (C-Spire)

I wasn't an Apple fan until I realized what a POS my Droid was... It's great that you think the Samsung is the greatest thing since sliced bread :icon_lol:

Actually, I'll prolly never use the S-Beam capabilities (high 5ing phones). Both phones have to have it and my buddy is toting an iPhone 5. I do however use Allshare and multitasking constantly.

I give Apple props for taking existing technology and refining. Problem is I don't like waiting 1-2 years for existing technology.

That's cool... I'm just giving you a hard time for lack of anything better to do :D
I actually hated Apple with a passion until I got my iPhone lol. Just the fact that it has yet to crash on me makes me more than happy with it.

I'm planning on getting the Galaxy Note 2 when it comes out in a few weeks, I like the big screen and as a technician I do alot of remote desktop from my phone as it is. The reason the iPhone is so popular is because every make of the iPhone is a refined version of the latter. That's why it's so bulletproof, there has only been a handful of android phones that have been refined a few times. I really don't care for phone or brand, I care for what I'll be using it for and convenience.

i just got the moto razr maxx (the flat one) about 10 weeks ago, I.C.S. is due here in the uk very soon, but i love the standard software.
i'v had a 3gs and a 4,, and itunes just makes the whole thing pants.
i can get 3 days out of the moto, and the 3gs and 4 were charged every night.
i called them toilet phones.
the moto has better free apps.

i got a otterbox commuter and screen protector.

might do a back up on the pc and store it, then do the ICS update,, but reviews i read on sites say it's not great and some apps stopped workin. and battery life was compromised.

motorola invented the mobile phone after all.:icon_google:

Hmmmm... I regularly get 4+ days on a charge on my iPhone 4s. Droid 2 Global? Had to charge it daily....

moto is 6 and a bit days if its on standby and just checking time and stuff.(with background stuff still running,, weather and app updates, email notifications.)
but in the new world of using the mobile pc as a communication device,,
i'm using it for anything and everything. . . could be harder and risk it to the 4th day but i know that i'd need a charger for lunch.
my iphones were 16gb and loaded with tunes, and 2 hours of music and ya need a charger. moto is 2 hours music per day ,, network, sites, email and calls and it still up for 3 and half days, but i charge on3rd night anyway.

Ah Ken cut the shyte out will ya maun - sure we all know you use it as a beer mat ! :D

My girlfriend perordered her iphone 5 the day the preorders went live. They placed a hold on our account for a couple days but then that disappeared. They didn't actually charge us until the phone was activated last friday.

My opinions on it? It looks too skinny.

The Iphone in my opion is the best and only phone in the world that doesnt suck i have had 4 iphone 3gs and every time i had and any problems i went to apple store and the replaced it completely free with no questions asked. my suggestion is to make sure u spend the extra 80 dollars on the care plane anything that goes wrong with the phone in the 4 years u have it besides water damage ur can get it fixed with out a problem.:icon_beerchug:
