Well im a roofer and got hurt at work a few days ago. The Doc says no more riding this year and was lucky to have use of my right hand period. And i just put new sneaks, chain and sprocket kit on my f3 
im am gonna be sooo bored. Anyone else layed up at home? If soo sorry to hear and i feel your pain

That does suck. But look at it this way, it is getting to be cold season, and that is wen lots of mods occur. Good luck and show us the pics of all the mods you will do now.

psh doctors, what do they know....
But i feel your pain man, i was out for a month and a half in prime riding season because of bike issues, it sucks but there is always next year and time for mods and poker to make some money. Take it easy and enjoy the workmans comp if your getting it.

Yes, sorry to hear this ... I am kinda layed up from just crashing mine into a car (my fault) ... bike is off the road with wrecked plastics, so thats me now until next year ... the way I look at it is I have something to look forward to next spring :-) ..I also have all winter to restore my F3 as original again ... I hope your hand heals soon!! :-)

I am a plumber too ... in Aus we call you guy's roofing plumbers..
What did you do to your hand ? bad slice or a fall on it ?
I have come off a few roofs over the years and have strained and stretched every bone in my body trying to land on the ground alive
never actually broken anything that I know about ..so far .
I have been lucky with cuts ... only had a few minor stitched up ones ..
It sounds like you were very luck mate....

You still have 1 good hand mate
get the polish out .. your ride will be like new after a few weeks of boredom ...
