INDY MOTOGP Camping??

A buddy & I "camped" there yrs ago. We called a number that a local homeowner had in the newspaper. We camped right in his front yard...tent & all! His wife cooked up a meal for us - free of charge, & they provided access to the guest area inside their house. Was like old-home week! 
IIRC, the cost was $20 for the two of us. Can't beat that!
I'm sure there's listings on CL, etc, for the same type thing. Sure, there's the factor of the unknown, having to interact w/ someone you don't know, etc. Its all in how adventurous & social you are.
Hope you have fun regardless of what you decide to do.

I won't be camping... because I live 15 mins away 
I was looking at this site and noticed that lot 1a and 1c are "festive" 
and the others are "family" 
. Just something to keep in mind. I remember last year 1a had several riders camped out but plenty of room as not to be packed in like sardines
