I'm thinking about getting a trainhorn installed on my car. Suggestions?

a train horn???? damn, man. isnt that going to too loud???
it could make it not safe. for instance look at yourself and the bike going around 40mph and some idiot pulls next to you and honks at some one in front of him. you are not prepared for something like that and loos control of your bike. ( i guess it could happen)
just saying that it might not be as safe as you think it might be. you dont want to give some one a heart attack.

I wanted a train horn for my truck but couldn't justify $400+. People have them, I don't see why they'd be illegal. I forget any useful info I may have gathered from past research though, sorry

A train's air horn isn't illegal... per se. I can guarantee using one on the street would violate noise levels. And give the nicest cop on the planet the biggest attitude problem. With you being the target of his attitude.
So basically if you get caught using it expect to have every centimeter of your vehicle gone over with a fine tooth comb looking for additional violations. With probable additional bs charges tossed on which you'll prolly be able to beat after spending enough time in court (public nuisance, disturbing the peace, reckless endangerment). Cops don't like being annoyed

They are illegal in most places, for one reason or another. Noise levels would be just one of the reasons they'd be citable almost everywhere. Some places have more specific restrictions against them.

Train horns go on trains. That's why they're called train horns.
I can't think of another acceptable use for one unless it's attached to Rosie O'Donnell.
So.... now I'm going to ban you for making me think about Rosie O'Donnell.
And also for being a spamtard.
Good day sir.
