I'm doing it!
So, I'm heading down to Corpus Christie tonight after work. Was going to ride the wife's bike cause I just got me some new ct2's ( I love that tire!!!) and wanted to save all that sticky rubber for the twisties but, Leave my 1k? Can't do it! argh...... Oh well, It's gonna be a nice ride!

According to Mapquest, Killeen, TX is 294 miles one-way from Corpus Christie. So for the full trip that's 588 miles.
Be careful on those new tires! They have stuff on them that keeps them from dry-rotting. You'll need to run that stuff off before you do any serious leaning.
