Default Im about ready to blow up this rr can you guys please help

alright man i picked up 4 20 volt 8 ohm resistors... plenty for what i need... took the two ends and wrapped them with the wire, then curved the excess wires over the edge, then completely wrapped them in electrical tape...

went into the garage, did the front signal, and did a rear signal (on the same side) hit the signal and and it still flashed at a rate where it cant be registered by the eye.... turned the bike off, and on and then hit the signal, and the flash rate had slowed down...

so i was like cool it worked, finished up making the rear signals I was making for a friend, then went out and tried it again, with all 4 signals wired to the resistors

and nothing they are all still flashing erratically... idk what to do

and idk why it randomly worked then decided to stop...

you the led expert so i thought maybe you could help....

i realize the connections on the resistors are supposed to be soldered, but I have a good connection or they wouldnt be flashing at all...

so im stuck up **** creek without a paddle

any help?

I'm guessing maybe it worked for a second because your good connection may have actually been opening.

I think that you need to replace those resistors with resistors that measure the same as the factory bulbs. (not sure what that is off the top of my head)
