I've ridden colder than that but don't do it often. 600f4ilover is in canada and she rides all the time. Check her recent thread about a winter ride

Last year I wanted to go up Mt. Greylock, the highest point in Massachusetts. It was late November and there were snow banks on the side of the rode in the mountain pass. I road for 2 hours getting there only to find out that they closed the top half of the mountain due to heavy ice on the road to the summit. I turn around and rode 2 hours home and got thinking how messed up it was. The top of the mountain was all frosty white. I was real cold on my return trip as the sun was setting.
Lessons learned, when riding, stay of the top of mountains in the winter.

My coldest is 17 miles to work in 18 degrees, it was so cold the condensation from me breathing froze on the inside of my visor. I had to pull over so I could get it out so I could see... and at the time I didn't have proper gloves or pants... I was so cold it hurt.. wont do it again.
Same here about the gear man.
I had proper everything on but my A* gloves with vents. I wore cotton gloves underneath but it wasnt enough. When i got home my hands hurt to the touch. I though i was gonna have frost bite for sure. haha I mean 20F at 60mph is -4F. That will hurt after a few mins. haha
