Congratulations. One is good, two are great. Happy times are foreseen for the four of you.

Thanks everyone for the congrats! Went to the ward today and got to properly hold the lil thing when they took him out of the incubator box and moved him to a regular bed. He had some minor difficulties starting to breathe which is why they took him to have some extra oxygen. If he's starting to hold his lunch down chances are I'll get them home by christmas, which is likely to happen now that the whiskers are removed which caused him to ingest some of the forced air. What happens tomorrow frankly right now is anyone's guess but the sings are pointing towards better.

This might well be the first child with a cbrforum connection as one of the godmothers happens to be the person you have learnt to know as Missynet, and I as my dearest friend!

Good to hear Matti, and it's great that Missynet is your new son's Godmother.

It just proves what a big extended family the CBR Forum is!

Cheers, SB

I thank you sir, and by your post assume you already got an another "bun in the oven" already?

Haven`t rushed here to report because christmas and all but everything went as well as can be, I got both mama and the bundle home by christmas and ever since then we`re basically been trying to getting used to one another. The older boy has been surprisingly welcoming to the newcomer, here`s hoping the jealousy phase everyone`s been warning of us doesn`t come at all as I`ve been trying to acknowlede him and get them to know each other as much as possible. The main problem right now seems to be that he`s somehow managed to adopt a somewhat Australian rythm which we `ve been trying to turn around... Currently 3:35am and heading to catch some sleep cause I got an early rise coming tomorr... er, today to get even some sleep at sun-mon night before returning to work after a week of daddy-vacation...

Luckily we are planning on putting the bun in the oven sometime this summer. It's pretty amazing what the body can do with "no" sleep. Best of luck I can send you a Starbucks gift card if it'll help.

Everyone voiced their concerns about the "jealousy phase" with us, too. But it never happened with either the older brother or older sister.

I'm glad to hear that everyone is home, and well. That's quite a Christmas gift your family received. Congratulations again.

Haha unfortunately there's only three SB:s in Finland, two at the Helsinki airport and the third downtown... besides, the stuff they sell at truckstops is a liiittle bit stronger

But yea gotta be keeping track to get even a little downtime cause as you probly well know already I'm a trucker by trade so no dozing off at the workplace for me (although a quick powernap at a motorway rest area is not a completely uncommon event...)

Speaking of coffee, sitting at a truck stop parking lot writing this, gotta go get me a quick cup and get haulin, was planning to sneek a visit at one bike shop during lunchtime (no new bikes unfortunately, just a battery powered heated vest I've wanted for ages and decided to get me one as a christmas present, gotta repair both the truck and the volvo for MOT fit before the year changes)
