Russel have you ever tracked a bike? I life my life on the track between 9000 and 12000 rpms. The 900rr has never been tracked. I have rode many diffrent bikes out at RFR. The R6 is the most comfortable bike I have been on for the track...... have I rode one on the street well no.. and granted it may not be the most comfortable street machine I plan to mainly ride the track.
And nothing is wrong with it. Its a streetfighter and has a lot of work done to it. Its priced to move id like to start putting money away for a new track bike.

The rumor is that the R6 peak power is between 13000 and 13750 but I don't know because I have not taken the R6 around a track... I'm not trying to dog your opinion or taste, like I said in my previous post I'm contemplating and R6 track bike for myself. As they say to each their own blah blah blah but the R6 is a nice ride, if you don't want a Honda the Yamaha is the next best thing IMO
just my $0.02
Edit: Oh, almost forgot '91 F2 been on the track

Okay at least you have been on a track and know what your talking about. Wasn't questioning you.but I know a few people that say a 1000 is better to track and easier. Obviously they have never been on the track so.I had to ask. Im not ******* your opinion in anyway. A lot of people track r6's which on the good side of things ton of parts and for cheep.
