I have to cut back on how much I ride.
Well the DR. says I can still ride but just not a lot of riding or long rides. I just got back from getting a MRI and I found out I havea herniated disc. I knew i did something to my back but did not know I hurt it that bad. So I guess that means I can be on here bothering you all more about our Florida weather more.
my doctors told me the same thing i have problems with a lower disc which also affects my pelvis/hip on my right side. I have found that compression shorts help me a little bit to rid longer. Of course Im still young (24) and hard headed as hell and put 10k down this year, or well last year i guess.
You may have to het a bike that is more ergo friendly. Even my F4i beat up my neck (even through my shoulder blades), I got a set of Helibars and it made a big difference. I guess 44 years of abuse finally takes it toll on the body.
You only get one body so take care of it.Iuse to beat myself up all the time like I would get hurt and still work out and never really heal up. Now I just rest some and it gts better and I come back stronger then before. Just relax and get better.I have not been on my bike in over a month due to the weather and I'm still making it.
