I moved to Austin from Southern California. Here you can get away with 5 over but 10 over and you're gonna pay on the major roadways. It took a lot of getting use to. In cali no one ever did just 10 over. You'd get run over or shot at.
I'm used to it now and honestly, the back roads where we ride have no cops at all.
Of course I never speed, that would be wrong.

I feel your pain dude. Were you on the interstate? Have never seen a ticket for 6 over in GA. Guess he saw your out of state plates and figured CHA CHING ... I earn all my tickets. Never had one for less than 20 over ... except the last one in which I really wasn't speeding but Deputy Fife swears I was

Most follow a rule of 7-8 over.

Which part of Goregeea? If they gave tickets for 5 over in the Atl area they*d have to pull every licensed driver on the road.
btw, it*s okay, we feel the same about the FL hwy patrol and their Helicopters used just to spot speeders as soon as you cross GA line into FL on way to panama cty bch.
