I almost dropped mine a few weeks ago in my garage. My foot slipped on some loose dirt/sand in the garage floor. Pure anger kept it from falling. So I have been there bud.

try rolling your bike off a side walk and forget to put the kickstand up....as the stand smacks and the suspension rebounds yanking the bike out of yer hands..you helplessly watch it fall away from you.
Did not happen to me, but to a friend of mine with his R1

I've dropped mine twice. Once while not moving, and, the second time, also going backwards.

First time was in my garage. I pulled in on the left side, and, thought i had put the stand down and went to jump off of it(the first week of owning it) and, thank god for the stack of boxes. The only thing that happened was the mirror bent in, but, i fixed it.

Second time, i was unloading it off of my trailer, just got it back from the shop. I was the only one around to unload it, and, i have a Uchannel ramp up the back, and, as backing it off, the front wheel caught on the side i was holding it with, and, away it went. Fell from about a foot off the ramp. I tried holding onto the handlebar, but, it slipped right out of my hand. This time, it scrached my lower faring and also bent the mirror that hadn't been bent, but, both times, nothing broke.

I too agree that the beer helped emotionally.

i have opened up with the 600rr guys and shared my story... well, here just read.

I was turning around in my yard so I could go for a nice little ride. My glove got snagged on the wirer form my mp3 player, I looked down to unhook it and my house JUMPED out in front of me. And you know as well as I do that when you are traveling at the whaping speed of 3.5 mph $h!t just flashes by and you don’t have time to react! So the house helped me realize that it was not a good day for a ride after all. So I picked the bike up and put the cover back on and want inside, by the time I got back inside my loving wife had already called one of my friends and was calling a second… she was laughing so hard she has crying. The best part of it all is that it was on grass and my bike had no damage cool right? Wrong!!! I broke two pieces of siding and an outside outlet, my wife made me take the money out of my bank account to pay for the house.
