Hypothetical race.......
you would win hands down in a straight race because of the yamaha's gearing is WAY high so it has no get up and go. plus it redlines at what 11k? as opposed to your 14. i think from a stop you would win but at 60 youcould win if you really pushed her.
The YZF is the one I'd be looking out for in this particularhypothetical scenario.
The other bikes are not an issue.
Hayden- I see you're up in Maine....can I add my FZ1 into the mix?

The Yamaha will win ya, I have a 94 FZR 1000 (sits in storage now) and it has won alot of races. Only lost to a few mainly R1's and 6's
Like the others are saying. that bike is longer and heavier (with HP) and the front stays down when ya crack it wide open with out any lifting worries.

Older bikes versus newer F4i?........all depends on the rider really. What are their skill levels? If they're newbs, you should have them. If they go to track days regularly, then you might have a problem. But this still boils down to the "who's got the bigger *****" type of argument, which never ends......(unless someone drops their pants).......but then it would be gay.
For pure raw animalistic power the Yamaha...... hands down on a straight run......
other than that on the twisties you would have the triumph knocking on your door but not all that hard.....
I have had the pleasure of riding all of those bikes within a close range on year but to me the old school liter bikes were animals..
hell I put some of the newer bikes to shame on my old 81 GS1100E.... damn I miss that bike.

Buell - 40?yo guy, works in our collision center.....i dont really know his MO. but he's more of the cruisin type.
the rest of the guys here are all mechanics that have harleys. oh one guy whos a cool **** owns a i think 1981 CB400? sound right? anyways its sooooo mint.

In a drag race the Yami should be able to get you, but the others should not. It all comes down to who the better rider also. I say go to the track and see what happens. Any way you slice it the Honda is the best bike.
Yup the Yami will win a drag race but you should win anything else. The triumph is a nice bike too but it's not a racer, the buell will be last for any test though. I hope you all joke on the guy riding it
The best rider is going to make all the difference. I'vehung with (and beat)r1's and gsxr1000's on my 600 Monster, no sweat. All it takes is a good rider who knows how to turn against a lame rider who can't. Yeah, those literbikes pulled me like mad on the straights, but I never had problems taking them back through the turns. Momentum is everything.
