coming off jamboree to get into my complex theres a damn left turn lane light. if i hit red. i just look left and right. as long as there are no cars coming into the intersection i'll run it. once i've waited like 10 min for it to change, after that i just go whenever i can becaues it NEVER changes for my bike. its getting quite annoying.

tried one of those before -- total poop.

i look for the cut lines of the sensors in the asphalt and make sure to stop and hover over the front left corner at lights. haven't had any problems with that method.

I guess in theory the faster you go through the red light the less time you will be vanurable to getting nicked by the old bill or hit by a car, run the damn light and get a tiny number plate !

The traffic lights will not change, night or day if you “flash” your brights at them. I have learned about the sensors in two ways. The first, I worked for the city on the streets department and the second I am a firefighter now and have the flasher on top of the truck. It is a simple device that sends a specific signal to the sensor at the intersection and CAN NOT be replicated by our headlights. Sorry to burst the bubble.[&:]

When I come to a problem like that before stopping at the red light I try to stop hard on front brake causing pressure on the censors. it works all the time, I use to do what you do get off the bike and push the walk botton ,not anymore..

Not true in Dallas. The bike lights wont do it, but my truck lights will.
