This topic comes up pretty regularly. Some dumbass trying to run us over through pure stupidity or apathy. It gets you hot, but I still think taking violent action is not going to resolve anything, just strain matters further. This is how motorists willl think of ALL sportbike riders. We have to be dilligent about scanning the road ahead and keeping alive, but also about promoting a positive example. I actually nod or wave to people who I can tell saw me at the last second and didn't pull out in front of me. Kind of an "I know, that you know, that I know, that you know..." I am probably not making the world safer for anyone, but maybe that person will be more respectful (I hope) and conscientious when they see a motorcycle.

you have license plate number and car model year, etc...report him to the DMV...and they will investigate. if he has had past complaints like this...they will go after him, unless there have been no priors...then it's just a he said/she said thing...but worth a shot!

i think you can do it on the DMV site!

 

You can always say that he pointed something at you that looked like a gun, then they will get him!

We once say a car full of kids pull up next to a elderly couple on I-95 and pointed Two guns at them to scare them...I called FHP and within 3 minutes Cops were everywhere...I am sure their day sucked, especially since the cop had to stop them IN THE RAIN!
