I was curious to see how many miles y'all are getting from a set of tires front and rear.

It appears that I will get right at 3000-3500 out of the back tire and perhaps double that on the front. I have been riding hard, and it doesn't help that these ZR rated tires could be pulled off and chewed as gum. Good thing in the twisties I suppose.....

I am currently using Battleaxe's as its the only thing I can find a 16" front in. Would love to find something that handles well, even if a little less, but will give me more mileage.

Found parts411, any other good online tire spot?

 

Track tires? Maybe two track days on the rear (Approx 300 miles) and 4 from the front.

Dunlop Qualifiers? Both are toast in about 1000 miles. (the set on the bike right now is about gone with 800 miles on them.)

Pilot Powers? I can get about 2K out of these.

 

2500 give or take on my Metzlers, they get beat hard though. I'd say prolly 4k of ave riding.

 

Oooooooh. Ur talkin bout tires. Had my mind in the gutter for a sec, sorry. Ive only switched my rear once so far at about 8k. Gonna switch the front and rear next time, prolly at the end of the summer. I have the pirelli corsa 3's

 

On the stock Dunlop 20... whatevers I have 8500 miles and I can still go a lot more I think. I just have a nice flat worn spot in the center of the tire from a lot of freeway riding.

I got about 4,000 on my stock rear tire. Replaced the rear with a Qualifier. Got 4,000 miles from that tire, now I have new front & rear Qualifiers and LOVING them. (and I do put the bike through it's paces.)

 

I like to keep my rubbers on all the time...You know just in case... Hey it could happen...ive gotten 12k on my front from when i bought it ooops...It needs to be replaced, but ive gone through 4 tires in about 10 months from nails etc.. this is the first tire ive gotten to 4k miles and it slides a bit im thinking about switching to some new ones in a month or 2

 

i dont do burnouts or anything like that.. i usually get 4500-6000miles to a rear tire... i use pierrli diablos

 

Got 4000 on stock dunlop. Just ordered the pirrelli diablo should be hear next tuesday. I am glad to see you can get 4500-6000 out of one bob hopefully i will like them.
