i know what you're saying though ... sometimes you gotta take the hand dealt to you .. personally i'm not built for that .. guess i got too much desert blood cuz anytime i'm in those climates i can't think, got snot running, eyes watering blah blah blah

^ swim up bars are a great idea ! i hate getting out of the water just to get a beer .. or goto the bathroom but they still havent perfected that solution *ahhh sometime soon i hope , im typing this from the pool as we speakand i gotta go .... >_< *

 

im only happy when it is above 100 F but i can do with about 80 is my min
that is why i live in fl. i am with kewl breeze in wondering why so manypeople live up north where there is only a few months of warm weather

see...i agree that i LOVE swim up pools and warm weather...but only for so long....i like it for a vacation, but i couldn't do that heat year round...

growing up in Chicago, i need four seasons....granted in chicago spring and fall are sort of odd...some times they are more winter/summer additions that spring and fall, but still...i need to transition from one to the other, makes me appreciate each one separately....not saying i dislike the heat, but i prefer it in that i can control how i feel better....

i mean when it's 100+ outside going outside, you will be hot...NO MATTER WHAT...
when it's -10....if i have enough clothes on, i am still warm....

this is not talking about the perfect 75 with a nice light breeze, sunny, but not blinding...we don't live in a perfect world...

but even then, seeing as i like snowboarding and doing inside stuff....winter is perfect...

and for all you southerners that never have a fall, you have no idea how beautiful it is when the leaves change color and it's just cool enough to wear a sweatshirt and jeans and have a hot cup of coffee and feel comfortable...there's nothing like it...

nothing satisifes my needs but warm weather... i was born and raised in savannah, ga and for me a summer really doesn't get hot til it's over 100... anything I can kind of just blow off and deal with while most people are sitting in front of the air conditioner I've got the windows down

 

Grew up in Northern Idaho and moved to California when I wasfinished with school,just to get out of the cold. Nice to visit family in the winter time for a week and thats enough for me. A steady 80 is just fine.

thats our winter. I am from Florida, born and raised.

I love the cold as well, most of my family lives in new england and I have skied or snowboarded atleast once a year since I was three. But I couldnt live with out sun and warmth for months at a time, I think I would get depressed. Yeh the heat sucks, but the cold hurts, even with layers your nose and face just hurt.

I think the summers are best taken with alot of lazyness. Heat is alot easier to enjoy when all you have to do is hang out at the pool or the beach.

working in the heat sucks though, it is so draining.

How is riding in the winter up north? thats another plus to Florida.

 

Oh then try Arizona. They've got December, January, February and Summer. It's beautiful.
