How do all these dumb ppl get there ml's?
i love the squid pic!!!!!!!!!!!!! looks just like them.... yeah i have 2 friends who have never got there endorsment untill about a year ago, they failed 3 times. lmao, my dad wouldn't even let me go for my test till i could ride the dragons tail, which i lost it a few times but it was worth it, i have allways looked at it like if you can ride the tail you can ride anywhere.
when i first got my class m permit i just went down to the local dmv and took the written test. never read the book and passed 1st try. from that point on i was legal to ride a motorcycle just not with a passenger , at night or on the freeway. i broke 2/3 of those rules and i kept my permit untill it expired the next year then took the msf course. its amazing how easy it is to be "legit" to ride.. and how many un licenced riders are out there ! wow
last year my g/fs little sister, 17 years old at the time(who... well... lets just say doesnt have the best judgement... about everything in life...) bought her 16 year old boyfriend a 96 cbr f3 (or whatever '96 was) this kid had never even had a car license, let alone a ML. and he cruised around town all summer w. no helmet, and her on the back half the time... i cant believe he didnt wreck. it is amazing how many stupid people there are out there.
sad thing is my g/f thinks i broke my elbow tryn to help those guys out, it hurt like hell after i left, dont remember hitting it on n e thing but it went down so quick, its swollen and black and blue cant even ride now ( its 3:41 and i want to ride so bad. usally do b4 i sleep) but i doubt it is i would have realized when it happened, i probable just smacked it good. well going to the er in the morning
replying to the comment of the difference between being a motorcyclist vs. owning a motorcycle....
I think of myself as an ethusiast vs. a motorcyclist.
There will always be "that guy". Just remember to leave yourself an exit strategy.

Modern sportbikes are too much forsomeyoung riders. They can learn the skills quickly, but they don't have the mental discipline to restrain themselves from high risk moves.I know if I had a bike when I was 20, I would havebeen acripple in no time.
It isn't so much that they are squids, they are just young and dumb.

I've been riding since I was 16...had powerful bikes since about 19...my dad taught me how to ride...there will always be whack jobs out there...glad you're ok Sam :-)

I got my bike when I was 20, turning 23 this year. I will admit at first I did a few things to get the adrenaline pumping that I wouldn't do today, but I never did anything too extreme. Just lane splitting for the most part, but even that was calculated.
