How did you choose your bikes name(s)?
Alright, so I've been thinking about this more and more lately, I want to name my bikes but I'm not sure what to name them.
I've got some names in my head, but not sure which ones to choose?
I'm thinking Ashley for my 600, and Elise for my 250...but I also like Christina...I just don't know!
How did you decide?
Also, pics.

I think I named my S1000RR, but I don't remember what it was. I think it was Emma II. Emma means "one's beautiful horse" in Korean and I named my second bike Emma, hence the "II".
My RC51 I named Bertha at first. Now that she's a bit street fightered I named her Makoto because that's my favorite character in Street Fighter. And yeah, I still play Street Fighter.
Never named my F4i. Don't really like the bike much and as soon as I get the motivation to fix her back up she's being sold. (Don't take offense if you're an F4i owner, it's a beaten up stunter and never really came to terms with stunting)
I generally like to think of a reason for giving a bike its name. Now that I've owned a few, I don't really care as much about it anymore. I understood it to be a "good luck" thing like naming your boat, but with a few years under my belt now I've come to realize that on a bike you make your own luck.

I bought my bike up in Middlesborough. After picking the bike up I had a big dinner at a local pub and was enjoying the local accent (and traitional Yorkshire portion sizes, yum!) 'Pet', short for 'Petal' is a common term of endearment in that area of the country and on the ride home I just started calling her Pet/Petal. Well, begging her to play nice on my stupid epic 200 mile first ride on my first bike with only a couple of hour's compulsory basic training under my belt. It was a bit of a baptism of fire.
This is her, and a friend + his son
