photobucket, googlevideo, youtube are some of your free choices.

You might need to cut the video up in sections to save on download time. Or downgrade the quality a little or compress the file.

you could turn it into a torrent and put it up but if it was a good movie then its probably already up.... look up Bit Torrents. if its not copy write material then you can't get any heat for it... I like sharing vids of our birds with the mother in-law that way.

is it a "home" movie or an actuall movie movie?

I know a few good movie movie sites. Not the best quality, but good.

Also, hosting the movie from your PC would be sssssllllloooooooowwwwwwww for the downloader.

A "movie" in my terms is something you watch that has actors. If that is the case then youtube is a big no no. 1. youtube host video "clips". Short minute footage. 2. Hosting a "movie" is illegal. Watching it off a website isnt.

What is the size of the movie?

Why not just burn it and mail it to them?

You could always buy some server space somewhere, upload the file to the server, and then people could download it from there. I got 300GB of server space from hostmonster.com for $4.95/month when I did the 2-year service. I still have to play with it some more though. (since I bought my server space and domain yesterday). I'm doing the same thing for TopGear episodes for all my friends that want them, but don't want to spend months downloading them from torrents like I did.
