How about New Years Resolutions?

How about New Years Resolutions?
It seems I really want to ride obsessively when the weather says "NO". When the weather turns warm there are too many excuses every year. This year I resolve to ride every week at least once a week from too cold to the next too cold (and keep track). I am also going to make a long weekend road trip somewhere in way up north New England. When it's wicked warm.

mine is very simple, QUIT smoking. that will save me money for the things i want and most importantly i need to ride safe and with my own uniqueness.
good luck to everyone that is trying to do something for this new year.
well podunkian, it should be new year there already. i still have few hours of smoking, lol

This is mine also, I have it all planned out. I told myself I could smoke tonight. But when I wake up tomorrow no smoking, And no smoking in 2012 for any reason.

It's been over 18 month now since I quit smoking. I was heavy smoker for 20years... It is not easy to quit but think of all the good reasons to quit. Money, time, your life.....your clothes won't smell...playing a pickup game of 3 on 3 basketball and you won't lose you breathe...it's okay to fall off wagon here and there but keep you mind set...keep busy and don't find excuses to smoke. Usually smoking comes hand in hand with beer, coffee, after meals, after whatever...ditto.
I went to universal studio last Saturday & my daughter and I race up the stair...I would say about 400 steps or so...when on top...I still can keep going...my lungs felt great!!!!! All this due to NOT smoking...if I were still smoking, I'm done by 200 step with a stomach stitch... And $5 per day x 365 days a year....image all the money saved...
Just do it.....
