Well ive got to mot my bike soon, the question is; i have no road tax but i do have insurance is it legal to ride from home and back again to the test station without tax as you cant get it until you have an mot??

Need a little help from the UK guys (and girl) on this one....

no idea.... but couldn't you call the MOT and ask?

I had the same problem many years ago and as long as I had valid insurance I was able to take the bike to a pre booked MOT.

Check with the test centre to see if this is still the case.
