HID
Here's my before and after. 6000K kit Harbor Freight. I'm asking about ya'lls kits cause I'd perfer to have a Hi/Lo kit so I'm wondering who to buy from. I can already till I'm gonna get the shaft on shipping cuase some how people can bypass the law of overpricing shipping.

Gotta adjust that kockide one.

I know what you are talking about, the "LineBeam" right? That little half-circle reflector that blocks the top half of the bulb, causing the beam to spread a line pattern onto the road right? My kit DID NOT require me to do any modification what so ever to the headlamp housing. Simply just replaced the bulbs, hooked up and hid the ballasts and boom.........instant HID's (been going over a year now on 4 kits and none of them have even hinted a problem. Make sure to go with 5000k or 6000k. They're the brightest and most white HID's you can get (closest to stock HID's in BMW, Mercs, etc.) If you go higher in color temperature like 8000k or 10000k, you actually have LESS light output, not to mention it casts a blue/purple light onto the road versus a pure white light. That's why I changed from my 10000k HID kit to the 6000k. Made a HUGE difference in visibility.
I did a HUGE write up on this.........here's the thread link..........

The link to where I purchased the kit is also on that thread. Please read it too. I get a LOT of PM's asking stuff that I explain in my write up. But feel free to ask me questions. I've educated myself EXTENSIVELY on HID retrofit systems, high-voltage silicon wiring, etc, etc.

You've cut out like half of your light output with that plate. And they're upside down.

Thats how the notches are on bulbs. I've googled other kits and they're the same way.
Also the beam and nicely in front of me. My neighbor across the street is up all night so I'll have him stand outside while I ride down the block. I hope I dont have to adjust anything.

Ya, I looked at the ebay store you bought from. Talk about a rip off on shipping. Man I'd like to put every company out of business that gouges shipping cost.
