Hello Can some one find a dam insurance company that will not cost me a fourtune. Im 18 currently with a perfect driving record, 2 year of car license and 6 month of motorcycle. I own a 05 cbr1000rr. Every one is killing with their prices here in cali.

you can try statefarm, but i would also recommend something more than liability, but you obvisouly cant even afford liablity....hope you keep her in a garage.

 

What about getting on your parents policy...wouldn't that make it cheaper? You are 18, ride/drive in California, and ride a 1000...I'm sorry dude, you are screwed.

i pay 25 a month for liability on my 99 f4 through progressive, im 18 with 1 speeding ticket..

 

even statefarm wont help him... your screwed dude... im 18 and i have 06 zx636r and a speeding ticket and i pay 1054$ a year full coverage but thats also because i have a car with them and pay a decent amount for that... 18 and on 1000rr with only 6 months experience and in CALI ? my hats go off to you buddy either you are a really good rider or are really stupid because my bike is way too much for me still and i've been riding nearly all my life... you better be willing to pay $1500+ because i dont see you getting quoted any lower.

 

lol come on man, thats one of those things you think about before buying a motorcycle. mine is with progressive right now, and i was 19 when i first insured it through them. its around $410/yr for liability, still not cheap, but affordable. i do not have a perfect record, maybe a speeding ticket on there at the time. but look around or get a second job, lol.

 

i have 2 bikes through progressive. a 2000 929 and a 02 gsxr 600. both have full coverage and i pay less than 200 a month(for both bikes together) . i am 22 , 1 speeding ticket. i also live in cali. something else is that both my bikes are paid off. if you are trying to insure something that you dont even own insurance is going to be wayyy higher

 

If you join the Honda Riders of America you'll get a discount on your insurance. I got quoted a $45 deduction. Basicly, I get free magaznes and ride side assistance + $10 off my insurance.
