Unless you really want a new helmet. I still say just drop the 5 bucks on a chin curtain for your helmet if thats the only thing thats missing from your current helmet. In fact, I bet the one for my IS-16 would fit your FS-10. It just slides into place between the outer and inner structure of the helmet. If you want it, PM me and you can have it. I will never use it. I don't ride if its cold...

Another thing you may want to do instead of a darker visor is buy the darker inner sun shield for your helmet. I think they come with a light smoke, but I believe they make a darker one also. They have gradient visors that are smoked on the top portion of the visor, and clear towards the bottom which may help as well. It would block a good majority of the light in the day, especially when combined with your inner visor, but still allow you to see at night through the clear portion.

Shark makes a few helmets with the flip down sunscreen, you may want to check them out.

Only thing about my current helmet is that it was scraped along the ground, and my have taken a big hit. Like, one of those "I'm getting a new helmet to be safe, I just don't think I'm getting the same one."

my favorite helmet due to cost, dark visor included, and the liner is not so cloth-like like most helmets.

My 2 cents...for your needs get the exo-1000.

It has the flip down visor, chin skirt to deflect air, has plenty of vents that actually function, air pump to get an even better custom fit, etc.

I have over 1k miles with my exo-1000 and love it. You get a lot for your money with this helmet.

I made up my mind, and decided to go with the rf-1100. However, now I just have to decide on if I want a simple color, or what. God. This is gonna be worse than picking a helmet!

These are the ones I'm torn between

And if I was to stay solid, should I go with black, metallic black, or matte black?

I used to have a Matte Black scorpion. I really like the look for what that's worth.

But damnn I really like those two helmets. I mean REALLY like those two helmets. They didn't have those color schemes when I purchased mine. I'd need to see them in person to get the best idea BUT I think that that first one is just plain sex in a lid. Although the second one is just as cool! ahhhh decisions decisions.
