Apparently because "it feels so nice." Well, so does raw-doggin, but protection is used for reasons...so we don't have a bunch of short-bus riders running around riding bikes w/o helmets!

I too live in Michigan.

Even when I was stationed in Colorado (no helmet law) I always wore one.

Only makes sense to me...plus it keeps the wind off my face.

people look strange riding a sport bike without a helmet. Va has a helmet law, but I would rock one if we did or not. Ask O Big Ben how it feels to break your fall using your face.

I live in Ohio where its a law to wear your seat belt but optional to wear a helmet.... Makes no sense to me. I never leave home without it.

Georgia has a helmet law, so everybodys gotta wear one regardless. When I lived in south Florida though there was no helmet law. Still, I wouldn't be caught dead riding without my lid... I just can't do it. Like previously mentioned... wearing gear is my 'comfort zone'... I'd be waaay too nervous without it. Plus.... well I'm starter than that

Colorado ~ no helmet law. Rode my bike without my jacket once & felt real vulnerable; can't imagine riding without a lid...
