A bit like mohawks on a helmet- great if you're 12 years old, going down the driveway on your push scooter, but as Doodoo says, clean your boots with it.
They do come in nice colors to match the wingnut ears, Doodoo.
Tiger's ears and tail are too good !

Some of our younger guys wear them on Toy Runs, Nappy Runs, and so on - going slowly adds a bit of color on a mass ride.(also gets you picked out in a lineup)[X(][X(]

I want to add fluffy bunny ears to my helmet... so they can flop in the wind while I ride.....
In all seriousness... I've seen some prople wear the mohawk and make it look cool, and others that make it look ridiculous.
It has more to do with your personality, and what you wear with it.
One of my coworkers airbrished his helmet to look like a beast/demon skull, and added a black mohawk to it.... And he pulled off the look.... you will do a double and triple take, it looks absolutely stunning... in a very evil/terrifying way.
